Our Vision
We are sharing an ideal of research and learning in an intellectual community defined by dedication, generosity and striving for excellence we have created an institutional frame in which we can develop our ideas. This frame is a double degree 2-year master’s program which will allow students who wish to join us to gain the master’s degrees of two of our universities. Designing the program we were guided by a vision of how the tradition of humanist learning can be transformed into an inspiring, challenging way of learning—building on the experience of the past and providing guidance in our century. We have studied places and personalities that have built cultural and scholarly connections between Eastern and Western Europe.
The modules of our program reflect the skills that we believe to be necessary for research defined by interdisciplinary openness, excellence and timelessness. At the same time, the modules reflect leave space for the creation of a scholarly community.
