Italian for Humanists
Dr Jan Czarnecki
The course is an option within the CIH Specialized Language Skills Module. The students learn to read and discuss Italian texts within the humanities. The course is conceived as an imaginary iter italicum, which prepares the students for a real one, when the conditions permit, in collaboration with our Italian Partner Universities (Padua, Rome, Genoa, Naples). A detailed reading list will depend on the research interests of the participants. In result, each student shall gain confidence to use Italian primary and secondary sources in their M.A. project.
